BiographyHuiping Huang received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Shenzhen University, China, and his Ph.D. degree from Darmstadt University of Technology, Germany. He was a recipient of the Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship from the European Union in 2024. His research interests lie in signal processing and wireless communications, with main focuses on direction-of-arrival estimation, source localization, channel estimation, robust adaptive beamforming, sparse array design, compressed sensing, and optimization theory with applications to radar, sonar, navigation, microphone array processing, etc. He is serving as an Editor for Physical Communication (Elsevier), and is serving as a technical reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals and conferences, including but not limited to IEEE TSP, IEEE JSAC, IEEE TAES, IEEE TVT, IEEE TITS, IEEE TMC, IEEE SPL, IEEE WCL, IEEE Sensors Journal, Signal Processing (Elsevier), Digital Signal Processing (Elsevier), IET Signal Processing, IET Communications, Multidimensional Systems and Signal Processing (Springer), IEEE ICASSP, IEEE SAM, IEEE ICC, and IEEE JC&S. He was a special session organizer for EUSIPCO 2025. He was a technical program committee (TPC) member for several international conferences, including IEEE VTC 2024/2025, and IEEE ICC 2023/2024/2025. Research Interests
